Government support and participation is at the centre of the MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition and the MSGBC Local Content Forum, facilitating the conversation between the public and private sector, as well as between international and local players.
As such we’re proud to have the full, official support of both PETROSEN and COS-PETROGAZ, as outlined in these official letters of endorsement.
Since its inception, the MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition has been organised in partnership with the Senegalese National Oil Company PETROSEN. Bringing a large delegation from both the NOC and the Senegalese Ministry of Energy, PETROSEN’s participation in the gathering is central to conversations focused on the development of the Senegalese oil and gas industry, with Director General Mr Mamadou FAYE speaking at the Summit each year.
The MSGBC Local Content Forum is officially supported by local Senegalese regulating body, COS-PETROGAZ, with the Permanent Secretary, His Excellency Ousmane NDIAYE, and the Deputy Permanent Secretary Mr Mamadou FALL KANE participating and speaking at the gathering each year. As the promotion of local content is at the core of COS-PETROGAZ’s mission, the Oil & Gas Council is proud to provide a key platform for idea-sharing and pragmatic, action-driven discussions to promote and encourage the development of Senegal’s in-country capacity.
